A striking and unique black ammonite fossil turned into a one of a kind pendant. The fossil itself is encased in hand done metalwork that’s been polished, then sealed. Hung from a 18 stainless steel chain.
This particular one had a light and dark brown spiral on front and a dark shell look on the back. A very spectacular occurrence in nature .
Ammonite fossils are extinct marine mollusc in the Cephalopoda class. These little guys lived in the seas about 240 million- 6 million years ago.
The metal used is a low alloy silver bearing solder by Stay Brite (#8) that’s 94% tin and 6% sterling silver.
This cute little pendant is reversible and a great addition to any outfit or as a sweet little gift.
