I have suspended rows of tiny gemstones in hand-formed sterling silver frames by wire wrapping them in an intricate basket weave style. The gemstones include from top to bottom, peridot, Ethiopian opal, rhodochrosite, pearls, and amazonite.
The fringe on the bottom consists of chain and hammered silver discs that will move back and forth for glittery sparkle!
*Please note that opal is naturally a more delicate stone, so extra care is recommended when handling and wearing opal jewelry.
Do not wear your opals in water as most Ethiopian opals are considered to be a hydrophane opal which naturally has the ability to absorb water, which may in some cases change their color.
