A pleated skirt featuring a distinctive check pattern and tuck details.

This skirt is made from printed fabric with a check pattern inspired by the orderly rows of steps reminiscent of German Expressionist architecture, enhanced with pleating.

The finely detailed and slightly random pleats create an asymmetrical silhouette, while the deeper tuck on one side adds dimension and shadow. Additionally, the changing direction of the pattern contributes to the skirt’s dynamic feel. The fabric used is a glossy, lightweight twill, and the waistband is made with black fabric to give a more fitted overall appearance. When paired with a blouse made from the same material, it creates a dress-like impression.
