Anyone who has ever owned Vintage Allen Edmonds can tell you that the quality and craftsmanship is so much better than newer models. They just don’t last or stand up to the older ones as can be seen by the condition these are in after over 40+ years.

I put a little heel pad in them to fit me better but those are easily removed.
Although I’ve admired them for years I never really wore them much but I have kept them
moisturized and polished and the thick leather soles have plenty of life left in them
but can still be re-crafted by Allen Edmonds if you send them in
These have a sturdy Good Year Welt construction
