Battery tested functional but will not come with a battery
Photo shows old battery which has been removed will need battery to function
Requires CR1220 3v lithium battery

Back cover looks as if it needs specialty tool to open but it doesn’t. When inspecting I was able to pop off with a mini flat head eye glass tool, so you should be able to do the same.

As for how water resistant it is I’m unsure unfortunately it’s a little older so nothing available for reviews nor have I tested it’s resistance
